Your not making sense.
You tell me he will love me,
I will be safe when I die.
Just read the book and that you’ll know.
This logic is the most illogical thing ever spoken to me.

If he loves all, what do you tell the starving child
Slowly dying of some disease?
What will his forgiveness do for the blind man who has never seen a sunset?
Or the deaf man who has never heard a symphony?

If he cares and protects us, will the paralyzed man ever feel his wife’s touch?
Will the suicidal teen find hope, and live on?
Will his love warm the homeless? Or stop the killing?
Will your book answer my questions,
And provide me with hope?

Will it make everything better,
And bring my loved ones back to me?
Will you god save me?
Can he pick me up after being I have been beaten, like my best friend?

Will he provide companionship for me, like that of a true love?
Will he wipe my tears?
Save my world?
If he is almighty, than why won’t he help?
If he is all loving, why do people hurt?

If you choose to believe in this illogical logic,
That’s fine by me.
If you want to believe in something that has abandon you,
By all means please.
But I choose thought.
I choose friendship.
 I choose real love and real hope.

And if hell is real, bring it on.
Because if we can survive this world, nothing could be worse.
And if we can stand up on our own, after being run down,
And if we, humans, can learn to love once more, than we can do anything.

And we don’t need your heaven.
