please tell me what is lurking beyond your phony smile?
I, always depending on your constant happiness and your never-ending love, have been fooled by the conception that everything is okay, like we so desperately need it to be.
And so many thoughts rumbling in my head, how to speak words that have so much meaning, but never say enough.
And the memories slipping away like sand in the hourglass, when will our time be up?
My beautiful girl how I wish I could shield you from all this hurt you feel.
How I wish you could smile for the camera and feel our love surround you.
How I wish the world wasn’t so cruel, how I wish dreams would always come true, oh my beautiful girl how I wish happiness for you.
It may be a fact that while blanketed by my own plights, that I tend to forget, I’m not the only one.
And that when I’m happy you may not be, and that so many times I want my life to end you make it better, so much more than a friend.
Sometimes we want to give up, but just know my beautiful girl how much we love you, and the world would never be complete without you.
And please remember, my beautiful girl that when we fall hard, we must stand back up.
