Deeply you do my spirit touch
No other this way has done such.
Tired, eyes closed, your face I see
In my darkness, light you be.
In my dreams, your breath I hear
Rid your darkness I would of fear.
Beneath my fingers, your pulse I feel
With a touch, your aches I would still.
In my memory, your scent does last
Wanting to soothe away your hurts past.
Against my skin, your warmth still hints
As your existence within me always glints.
Soul, spirit and heart all hold you tight
To gift your dreams darkness would I fight.
Within me do you move deep and complete
The simple sight of you yields me replete.
I would pick you up when you fall
So deeply have you touched my all.
