Events stunned
But were believed.
Your words though
I could not believe.
You retreated into the night
I fled outside
To the cold, clear night
And shed the tears
You would not.
I sense your surge
As you recoil
And accepting denial reigns.
So in the night
Cold and alone
I shed my tears
For you while you cannot.
