In the end
nothing really matters.
The sun still rises
the sun still sets.
In the end
nothing really matters.
Same old shit
just a different day.
Sometimes I think
I see something bright
but never am I sure.
In the end
nothing seems to matter.
Darkness and despair
holding me tight
should I even bother to fight?
Not much left to grasp
is anything anchoring me
is anyone holding onto me?
In the end
nothing seems to matter.
Sink into my darkness
which is emptier
my hands, my heart or my spirit?
