Shadow’s trust
Does lie in the shadowed dust.
Shadow’s soul
Does fall into the shadowed trap.
Shadow’s spirit
Does bow its head in the shadowed wind.
Shadow’s heart
Does beat in the shadowed silence.
Shadow’s love
Does survive in the shadowed depths.
Shadow’s existence
Does mark out a shadowed life.
Shadow’s hope
Does somehow march on in the shadows.
