Fingers through the sand I do run
Grasping all and grasping none.
So very like the circles my heart does run
Grasping at one and grasped by none.
Fingers through the sand I work
The grains to my fingers cling then they shirk.
So very like the surge my heart beats out
Texture true but bathed by doubt.
Fingers through the sand I do run
Grasping all and grasping none.
