The wind carries a feeling chill
As my thoughts roam at will.
Work this night I’d rather not
I’d rather roam the night in thought.
These words tumble out and emerge
As demands and wants are forced to converge.
I drift in thought and head to work
As in my roaming thoughts I lurk.
