THE PICTURESQUE GREEN LANDSCAPE,
IS LACED WITH THE MYSTIC MIST;
AND THE SKYS ABOVE ARE OBSCURE OF
ANY KIND OF LIGHT.
THE SKY IS GREY AND MAKES
SHADOWY FIGURES ON THE COLD
COLD EARTH.

THE AIR IS THIN AND CRISP; MOISTURE
IS PART OF THIS ENIGMATIC WORLD,
THE SOMBER ATITUDE IS WELL KNOWN
THROUGHOUT.
A VORTEX OF DARKNESS BRINGS THINGS
UNATURAL AND UNREAL TO THIS UNSURE
LAND.

THE RAIN MAKES POOLS OF WATER EXTENDING
INTO SEAS OF TUMULTUOUS ANARCHY.
STEEL GREY CLOUDS COVER AND SURGE
OVER THE EXSPANSE, IT IS CONSTANT AND
UNENDING, IT HAPPENS FOREVER.

I WALK AND WADE INTO A COLD POOL
OF WATER; I SIT AND STARE IRRESOLUTE
INTO THE GREY SPACE,
THINK AND CONTEMPLATE I DO
LAYING CRYPTICLY IN SOLEMN REVERENCE,

IN THE WATER THERE IS A WARM FEELING;INSIDE ME.
FORE I SIT IN MY GREY WONDERLAND,
AND I AM PEACEFUL.
MY MIND GOES WITH THE DARK WARM IMAGES;
THE WATER COVERS MY HEAD-
 THE TIP TAP OF
THE RAIN ECHOES
IN MY MIND.................

This was brilliant brother, as if you had been placed on an established world for the very first time, and given 24 hours to ponder it's orr before populating it with a billion others, gr8 imagery.

"unatural and unreal to this unsure land" I like the dark imagery and the grey feel of rain, like cold pools of industiral anarchy; the obscure enigma. The 'tip tap' of what echoes... Well done.

The only thing I almost dislike has nothing to do w/ your writing, and that's the ALL CAPS, and then only because it's a bit stressing on the eyes; however, I think I understand why you chose caps, and I can almost read this piece as an android searching

On Wednesday July 26th, 2006, Bakkhus Unbound (1105) writes:
...for its humanity. Either way, it's well written.

You can't see beauty in this world when you have to squint to see it .. I prefer the rain anyday, I'm a winter girl at heart, call me morbid, I'm not a child of summer .. this is beautiful .. I adore it ~V
