Recycled,

I have been before.

[Re-]used

again and again.

Rebuilt now,

crafted into something beautiful,
with her.

Recurring are the memories,

stirring the fear within my heart.

Reminding me that

even now,

I am disposable.

Don't toss me aside,
this heart has run its last cycle
and will forever beat for you

Well done--beautiful capture of something I'm sure we've all felt. Love this part, "Rebuilt now, crafted into something beautiful, with her."

no one is disposible. you arent a camera to catalogy the memories and extract them to look at and share only to be tossed to the garbage bin. *huggles*

it hurts less for a heart to be tossed to the garbage, than to be recycled again and again. But no worries, this feeling will pass me soon enough.

I have cried the same "unspoken" cry of pleading to not be tossed aside... promising more heartbeats than a lifetime can contain, yet I sit in a dump, having no halflife, knowing my waste is without end. touching write

A feeling Ive felt recently captured so poetically...even though you aren't...painful.
