"Man overboard!" a sailor screams.

"As I wish myself," the captain dreams,

"Overboard, we've always been."

                     -

Sailing day and sailing night,
Never with an end in sight.

Raised upon the tallest mast,
He stares across the ocean vast.

"Damned be this empty hue,
The ocean holding naught but blue.

No star to follow, nor angel sent,
Long ago my will was spent...

No shore of satisfaction found,
Forever to this ship I'm bound."

Through sands of time he's ever sifting,
On this ship, forever drifting.

Atop the mast he stands as stone,
Ever seeking the unknown.

"Hoist the flags, let the colors fly!
I sail until the day I die..."

"There's something more..." the captain rasps,
"Beyond these seas, beyond our grasps."

Going nowhere,
Going somewhere.
