I'm tired of cupid
and his alcoholic tendencies

His aim,

Just isn't what it used to be

The gods seem to be

playing with sheets of our

bubble wrap hearts,

popping them all,
just for amusement.

Oh this is such a nice comparison. It's the kind of poem people wish they had written themselves, but you did it first.
