Two people
Unable to come to terms
With the fact that they were in love
Each doubting it was true,
Each doubting the other felt the same
Both blind
Both silently claiming:
"You deserve better"
Both seeing so much in the other
That they deemed themselves
Unworthy
If only they could think of themselves
As they thought of each other
If only they could see
That to make each other happy,
They need only
Be together.
