*Used One line from another recent poem, I think it suits this one better*
Tonight I am part of the earth
Lying in an ocean green
The wind creating waves
Ripples in my grassy bed
With the sky as my canvas
I demand more beauty from the night
Playing connect-the-dots with the stars
I paint her face on the heavens
God's work corrected
The skies Perfected
Frozen in this ocean green
Wading...
Trying to hold in my breath
Before she steals it away once more
Tossing pennies into a fountain
Already full
Caressing golden lamps too much
Begging for her gentle touch
Counting shooting stars like sheep
As I try to fall asleep
Circumstances act like gravity
I'm trying not to drown
Too much of a dreamer
Wishing the sky would fall down
