I'm stuck within the boundaries
Of human limitations
Feeling so inadequate...
Feeling so absolutely

Useless...

I wish I could make
Everything better
I wish I could
Wipe away her tears
I wish I could
prove the world wrong

I wish I could...

I wish...

I wish I could do
Something more
Than fucking wish

A layer of steel added
To the brick wall they built
Between us
But even if I have to wait
For time to wear that wall down
I will

I'll stand on my side
Dreaming of what lies beyond
