Diamonds are forever.
They won't abandon or desert you.
You can see every part of a diamond.
They have nothing to hide.

Diamonds are forever.
You can hold one up to the light,
And see its purity, its clarity.
You can tell its quality by looking.

Diamonds are forever.
They sparkle.
They are lustrous.
A diamond never lies.

Diamonds are forever.
Love isn't.
Love will leave you.
Love will keep secrets.

Diamonds are forever.
Love will cower in the dark.
Love will act scornfully.
Love will often love twice... or more

Diamonds are forever.
Can your love compare?
