Anything is possible,
In the mind of the insane.
The sea may be the sky,
Or the mountains may be plains.

Summer becomes winter.
Sunshine becomes rain.
A face as placid as yours,
Can become a mask of pain.

A flower is a forest.
A tortoise is a hare.
A mind so overdressed,
Can be stripped and left bare.

The mind of the insane, you see,
Is bound and gagged, yet somehow free,
To be blind and see,
All that may be.
