Spent all day snorting the coke
And just smellin’ the heroin
Yelling inside and out
Shouting that what’s within

Nothing can quite take the edge off
No-one knows where I’ve been
And why should they could they
Want to see what it is I’ve seen

Is everything point less
Or am I exactly where I’m supposed to be
Feeling what I’m supposed to
Is it only in hell that I’m truly free?

Scratching lost broken bottles
Searching long forgotten cupboards
For the line that might set me free
or at least send me round the corner
To meet my friends in the coroners
No longer sad . no longer happy
No longer any need to be
