Seagulls echo through the decades
I'm 21 again aching
Lost and alone,
I switch off the phone
On our beach,
It's gone , all gone
Couldn't reach you
You won, you did
You were right
I'm Nothing
A ghost
I turn
knowing that devils await
Inviting me
Dark and moist

Cold wind's caress
Knows us
Condemned
A lesson I learnt
It's Never enough
Yet too much
My world vanishes
Gone forever
Albatross' promise flight
Yet there's no escape
Only cold grey ocean
I bled
I did
I died that day
Since then I hide away
Now I know why they call it falling
