I miss you
But only mostly
When you're gone

I hear you
But simply only
When I'm not listening

I feel you
Out of reach
And out of
hand's span

Touching you
Through your tears
And throughout all these big years

I fear you
And only slightly
That we might still go mad

And its sad that
When you're here I hardly notice
What is this?
And how and why must we hold so tight?

So subtly you light up
A grey soggy afternoon
And life rolls on
Like an old cartoon
