There’s a new conciousnesss
Arising
Are you part of it?
A revising
Where thought
fades into the backround
Where little me dies
And the bigger Me
Is found

We are the invisible mass
Organising
Will you be ready
For our uprising?
Bush and Blair’s unholy war
Crusades
Hounded into light
Where sick economy ends
And equanimity begins
What a Beautiful sound

Silent! Whispers in corners
Disguising
Assent with apathy
Its surprising
Our hushed words
Gather for the cascade
When God
Can stop mourning
And finally we
realise that
there is enough to go around

when did you write this? Blair is no longer in office...just curious as to you mentioning his name here. Another political poem...well written enough, probably a little mroalistic for me, with a slightly obvious stated ending. Not bad...
