Found

We thought we'd found it so many times
(Too much time for rhyme)
Wanting it
We sought to find it
Touching the music
Reaching through rhythm
We thought we'd found it
Deep in the sky
Sound!
Its Loud!
That noise from the ground

We thought we'd found it
A flight into self
Metallic magic
stomach falls out , a shout
and the tree is one
Almost touching the truth
The earth, the void
Not quite
Could you reach?
A seed was planted
That day on the moor

But what for?

We thought we'd found it
When you softly gave way to me
Taking me home
You took it away
You were mine
For only a moment
Forever, or never
It's done
You won
One time!

We thought we'd found it
Blackened faces
A cocoon of love
A womb of warmth
Ways and means
Works and unholy teams
days became daze
It was only over for a second
But better
Then the needle sank in
Brought death.
