I tasted the universe
A sensation like
Hot black wax
Caressing my tongue
Into a smooth, sensuous burn
Hardening into a barrier on my soft flesh
So that it felt like a stranger on my lips
I came
Shattering into shards
That eagerly separated into a hyper conscious haze
…Longing to be unaware of each other…
(Yet the monolith remains)
And
We
Are…
Forever reshaping the universe with clouds of eternal thought.
(And the consciousness is maddening)
I know…
After my destruction
I recreated myself
Calling the remains by name
I was reborn
It was then, in my sober euphoria ,I became drunk with the stars
And felt the crustaceans crawling beneath my skin
As they etched words beneath the scars
"Just don’t let the lioness in"
The scorpions stung only for a moment, as they weaved into a protective (and provocative) shell around my body.
With new eyes
I recognized what was once unknown to me
I devoured countless minds
Leaving me satiated
And famished…
Allow yourself to be consumed by your habitual existence, and you will never taste the universe. Expand your mind, and you may find yourself in beautiful stitches.
So please...
Taste
Digest
Release
And…
Create
You.Are.God
