I can hear you
lost in between
an echo and my pain
you speak softly
gracing me with words
that even fools can understand

I am that fool

a fool for you
tearing at my lips
searching for the place
I buried your very last kiss
I left it deep within me
latched onto my very last breath

I hear you fine now
your faintest whisper
that bludgeons me
with flavors from the grave

I have grown weary
yet I still listen
dancing with your memories
in the rain
.

Nothing really beats dancing in the rain. In fact, everything is just that much better when you do it in the rain. Except maybe using a blowdryer or something. I like your poem.
