She betters me for being in the same room.
The type of girl that silver screens your mind, and credits you for
all the glitz when you've never spent a day of glamor in your life.
I pre-live our time together so's i may have something of wit
or charm to say, my fear.... bursting the bubble i've ex-haled
one breath at a time, i've become quite the imposter.....
with any luck I can transform this shape-shifter gentlemen
into the man of her dreams, god knows she inhabits all of mine.

pre-live... a man lost in his daydream, with that ache that pushes for it to be born into reality. That one sentiment makes the work extraordinary...

"I pre-live our time together." The imagined scenario never plays out quite right. And God damn it man you really know how to turn a phrase.

like a hushed-up, folded up quickly love letter. . .one written that should never really be read...lest said 'she' realize how much she has 'undone' in you, and your facade becomes see.through [which would quite be the point, allowing that re.ach(e) of love to go beyond normal boundaries of skin and bones]...what a thing to begin this morning; this whispersoft soul of a man, exposed, dreamed, as to what he aspires/inspires to be.come, for her.. ... open and refreshing, airily honest. .... ''pre-live our time'' what a simply great line...we all do that; invent the enamoured little things. ...making love to a mirage until the 'hope of' is 'truth of'. did i say beautiful write????? egads......
