It's not how I'd hoped...

School-yard hopscotch and brown bag lunches,
those days are a far cry from the mess i've made.
Perhaps it was failing 24 hrs at a time
that allowed 20 yrs of "fresh starts"

I use to think I were so clever, talk'n the talk, but never the turkey.
Put me in a room.... by the time you return,
                                   the room will be gone.
I could hardly hold a job, what right did I have thinking that way.
I'm nothing more than a suburban hero, living out of his lunch box.
