Seven friends......welcomes eight,
brought in on the arm of another,
penetrating a circle by no fault of her own.
In the beginning a mere gesture of human courtesy
in-order to make her feel welcome within an accomplished group,
but divine-will was hungry, wasting little time.
It lived and breathed, without so much as a kiss,
metaphysical lovers in a world made of flesh.
But like all phantom affairs, daily observation lifted the sheet,
unveiling a covert betrayal.
Sheer volume of numbers in collective agreeance,
verbal stoning of old school proportions,
immediate exile.....jury not required,
guilty as charged.

what an interesting and original twisted metaphor of society and the mercurial repercussions of actions not eve barely aware; how we all fall in line and fall victim to judge and jealousy. .. at least, thats how i interpret; gritty and modern parable. ness
