It’s all so much better
Not exactly what you wanted
Actually, it’s not even close
But you’d never concede it
All the pictures of your half smiles
Below the sarcastic fog in your eyes
Isn’t that what you’re best at?
Being a bitter, sad individual
Manufactured injustices

Anger in wild excess
Everything has been done to you
Same excuses used so often
They’re hardly words anymore
I know you’ve never turned to hatred
Defaulted trust that wasn’t justified
Lied for any advantage
Or admit that you’re a self made victim
Blame and rage is all you are
