They start up the rumors
Burnt out shells for conversation
Indignant sets of eyes
I don’t want to die here
Not like this
Innocent shapes crash
Across less innocent minds
Moments slow down and spin
New feelings to believe
Just for now
Uneven pace in speech
Shutting down in sections
So this is everything
Hid in everyone’s shadowed mind
Eyes older than their age
Metal chemicals’ crest
velocity
There are no souls in here
Lives and their philosophies
Imaginary friends
Like Alexis and God
Have no ghosts
Vibrancy at zero
Nothing you would bring home
