crimson streaks
across fragmented glass
and splintered shards
inhaling the scents of burning
malfunctioning clockworks
an icy breeze
released along with an edged shriek
thoughts like dust
wiped clean with chemicals
closing stages
thin, moving bands of blue light
reminding ghosts of you
razor traced skin
obsolete, tired, and dreams of leaving
if tomorrow never comes
i'll escape what i deserve
