and if you're bleeding
I'll forget how to dress a wound
and when you speak of reasons
You're voice is only tones to me

burn the film of my wrong decisions
tear up the confessions in notebooks
pull to pieces photographs of our smiles
slash my eyes with pin sharp rain
i like to think i can forget

if you're only crying
My headphones climb to high decibels
And when you mention of love
I jettison furthest from this

Smash the mirror of days lost from here
Cut into skin, let your dark drain out
Rip surface injuries, nostalgia lies
Only everything here’s died
I need to erase religion

And if you’re sorry
Time’s run out for empathy in here
Anger and stale sex end
My calmest time is away from you

I like this. Keep it as is. It has much deep seeded emotion.
