it’s a place beneath memories
an inactive, dormant state left closed down for years
some vivid recollection of a glimmer
sections of myself I will never relate to
not for lack of wanting
moments in everyone that will never happen
the confinement of perception

minimize the trust and the anger
and we’re only the silence between our thoughts
unearth the foundation and framework
debris left that is only good for different things,
other than what they were made for

rip the senses unfiltered
more advanced or immature than is appropriate
indicators of nervous fear in smiles
this low and steady uneasiness sets in
the lineage of strangers
while ghosts of disenchantment observe us conscious
sleeping between walls of belief

This was so well worded. "minimize the trust and the anger and we're only the silence between our thoughts" Fuck yes. Welcome to darkpoetry.
