Here we are sitting
Around an old wood table
Elm maybe.
Sipping Earl Grey.
Talking about yesterday.
Hoping the bergamot
Won't spoil the milk.
We don't realize.
It's not really sour.
Just tastes that way.
So we'll just curdle.
From waiting.
For a resolution.
