Swimming through the glass
eye of the storm
shards of rain
red as a slow dawn

Naked in Bliss
the senses remain
starved by the sane
the process is quick...

    and painless

Stare down the eye
in the center
and remain, bewildered
without doubt

the wind calls you
 sail upon the everglades
shallow green seas
golden horizonotal tapestries

The maiden has returned
in her majesty-
joke with the bard
killing him softly

On a backwards day
this all makes sense
standing in between
present and past tense
