*This poem is supposed to be an image of a redwood tree with these words carved on it. Unfortunately, I don't have the image present*
If nothing
ever comes
of my life
but words
on a parched
piece of wood,
I will not
ask why-
for this life
still has
very few
ways to live
forever;
This is one.
