::::okay, before you read this, i convinced my sweetheart to just try and write something, hehe...i won! so, i give her full credit, please comment what you think, she and i would strongly appreciate it::::

"Happy Anniversary"
doesn't seem like enough to say
to someone who means
as much to me as you do...
someone who floats
in and out of my thoughts
all day long
and shows up in my dreams at night...
someone who makes my life
exciting and unpredictable
who talks me into doing crazy shit
that wouldn't be fun
with anyone else
i can't describe the feeling i get
when i see you from a distance
with that smile of yours on your face
its part excitment,
part anticipation,
part nervousness...
...sort of like a first date, all over again

::::okay,what did you guys think for a complete rookie? hehe...she's tlkain bout me guys!!! but anyways, be honest, take care...peace::::

The best thing about this is the fact that it is raw emotion. There doesn't seem to be any thought of wording it a certain way...just telling you that she cares. And that is what makes this so heart-warming. Truly beautiful sentiment.

'who tlaks me into doing crazy shit' i honestly understand this act, even if talks is myspellld (on purpose?); like a first date truely holds the weight of love; togetherness, like that first kiss (never ends; transcends)the 'inner feelings' of poetry fro

... of poetry from the fleshtongue...floating. The beauty here is felt; is real. Well done. "Happy Anniversary" as much as it feels much less, is in spirit...enuff!

I reckon that's just lovely - and I really like the bit "that wouldn't be fun with anyone else" the phrasing is just right. FF

Very passionate and descriptive for a first time writer! The last line was a perfect way to finish such a heartfelt poem in my oppinion. Tell her she should join DP!

*Crys uncontrollably* I just lost the love of my life, of three years. I remember feeling that way about him, just... he forgot about me. Well goodluck to you two and good job to her. ~luv Blood~
