Candle wax love figurines
Adorned with red bouquets
Scent filled air serene
Their melody so inducive
Of ecstasy in waking dream
It was the city of lights
A pyre in the dark nights
Burning passion and hate alike
Smooth drips the candle wax
'Cross lovers' coarse skin
Smooth drips the lights
In the pyre of the city
In the darkness of night
Lust was the choicest food
And gluttony all the rage
Sex dripped like candle wax
Or words falling from a page
Swooning over sacred curves
Tasted by precious tongues
Enunciating the sensations
Motions longing to be redone
Lechery the burning candle
Burning wax love figurines
Bringing scented air serene
It was ecstasy in waking dream
Yet 'love' wasn't what it would seem
In Paris...
Where my heart did scream
