"Utterly inverted"
Says the black to the white
"Happiness converted"
Whispered the sorrow to the cheer
What truly makes you happy?
Be it alcohol or flesh?
Vibrant colours await you
Pick a shade of pleasure
Surely you must tell me
What it is you deeply treasure
Desire may lie
Between a woman’s legs
Inconsequential to happiness
Deceitfully inclined
Resplendent is desire so
Synonymous with misery
If then you agree with me
The answer must be no
What then truly makes you happy?
Be it money, fame and wealth?
Much glory will come to you
And fame of infinite measure
Surely you can tell me
What it is you deeply treasure
Many grand boxes of gold
Heroic legends to be retold
A infinitesimal piece of happiness
Such a vice is popularity
What should happen then
When society is dead and rots
How will you then find pleasure
Derived from absolutely nothing
But their emptiness and thoughts?
What then will truly make you happy?
Be it freedom and beauty true?
Much consideration have you given this…
The choice to choose
Is surely good news
And beauty will only make it bliss…
But remember this…
How may happiness reside in another
As you’ll soon quickly discover
That others are full of lies…
