ive flipped msyelf upside down
under the contemplation of your
lips and how they became so soft and
delicate like the tears i softly
cried, all the way home
remembering exactly what it felt like
to run my fingers through your
disheveled hair
while at the same time
you pressing your finger prints
all over my body
how i loved the feel
of your breath against mine
my memory, its bronzed like baby shoes
to remember every small detail
never to forget the look in your eyes
that single look that was present
after our lips met for the first time
