My tummy knots and aches
Every second after my water breaks
Nine months of anxiously waiting
After ten minutes of vigorously mating

How much more can I take?
Was wanting a child a mistake?
Only minutes until his birth
Bringing another soul to walk the earth

Excited, yet scared
Will I be the parent I always feared?
Just one question for you God
Oh, I just saw the doctor nod

Is it time? Is it almost done?
Am I ready for my first son?
Oh, I can't take the pain
Just shoot me in the brain

Push, the doctor said
Oh, I should have just given him head
Push, the doctor said
As I'm wishing I was dead

So, I push with all I can
Oh, how I wish I was a man
One last push and he pops out
It was definately worth it, no doubt

His little blue eyes
His tiny grunts and sighs
Simply put, perfection
And that is no question.
