Nose to the stone
Fingers to the bone
Can’t cry in a dream
Grief is real enough
Missed the lightning
Heard the thunder
Poured my life out
How it made me wonder
Kid with green teeth
came with a gun
An ass playing mule
Got into a hornets nest
Now there’s not enough
To pass a DNA test
Step up and meet the man
30 pounds of old franklins
Molding in a garbage can
Walk among vintage cars
A day comes a day goes
He’s jumped by stars
The junkyard dogs around
Started digging up the ground
Empty arms and Stink breath
Watched the sun go down
Sitting on 6 pounds of death
