I'll drink from life
if certain death
should follow
Drown this poor soul
only to resurrect
at dawn

Be my eternal temple
Leave these tapestries
for dust and moth
Tomorrow I will sing
that we cease
to exist

Every moment
is the end
and a new beginning
Nirvana, it seems,
is neigh unreachable

Golden truth
will find a way
Let the demons in
and take cover
Fall beside me
as we fail

I'll go deep inside
myself to see
the ravens overtaking
Become the destroyer
and all will perish
Let me be
the desert storm.

"Let me be the desert storm." Striking and eloquent. You have quite the powerful pen. I enjoy reading your work immensely. You have such a quiet, yet thorough approach. There are strokes of gentleness behind such bold words.

You overwhelm. I am defeated by these words. Beautiful, just beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

I ditto that. and the ending stole the show and stroke a cord in me. It was a familiar picture, something I could relate to.
