I asked for her name

And like a stillborn child
       She didn’t cry to me

And I wondered if maybe...

...Angels were born without names.

Always was a fan of these shorter and much stronger, philosophic writes. Well, more than anything my mind just functions in such a way to make this philosophic but nonetheless; I have used and loved this style before, with the bulk of the meaning in the title alone. The final line sets the image of childhood innocence, beauty, or anything that you (or anyone) may feel they have lost in their growth. The title plays nicely in my head, the bold statement that all of those child characteristics you love will be lost, most prominent being their impressive skill to find happiness in simplistic things. Several other recent poems from you suggest in a way we will all grow to "die inside" and maybe that flame is never again found. But on the topic of beauty in a person, that always remains. Well written Pix, thanks for giving me something to think over :P
