"When you fly with the angels
And skim the wind
When you fill the fields with Maiden Pink dianthus
Stay close"

When you marry another
I will be that flower
Pinned to your breast pocket
Separated by thread
And a sharp intention
I will return
Resisting the wind
Denying the angels
Yes. I will stay close
I will be there when I am needed
Pressed in folded nuptials
A reminder that you are loved

Returning to yet another piece, this one was felt in a much different manner, the second time around. The language and images, still captivating.

There is a pun embedded here that plays not on words as much as the art of union... where the flower itself marks but a love deferred, a love at length, awaiting not the budding blossom, but the fallen petals, awaiting that awareness that flowers on lapels will never capture, however they are pinned, will never reveal, nor ever be the beauty, of the eyes that envision the flower from a far, that envision the flower without pins, without lapels, who dares not become between the flower and its present life.... maybe.

Perfect title to a perfect piece, loves that are lost but, so not forgotten.

A sweet sentiment this is, and a beautiful poem yet again. I see someone is finally learning to never give up on goals and dreams, just unfortunate it happened after your 'death', requiring a reincarnation to be fulfilled. I felt this like a slow turning drill pressed to my heart, yet it is hopeful so I guess I shouldn't be feeling that... Regardless, a great piece here
