When anger boils to the brink
And happiness appears extinct
Sympathitic words can not justify
The loss you feel inside

When faith has faltered and failed
Felicity banished or simply veiled
The persistent call of madness
Sends a constant state of sadness

When friends are few and colors fade
Day light has fallen and finds you afraid
Then darkness beckons thru your past...
I'm the dim light thru stained glass

Remember me once in awhile
Let me be your reason to smile
I am the flame that warms your heart
The hand you held for support

Burried under the layers of distress
Feel the linger of my tender caress
Search inside - I'm not too far
I'm now a part of who you are
