The song was set on repeat
The riddle between the rhyme
Paper promise potpourri
Floating in rhythmic time

Documents of devotion
melting drifts of snow
Perfuming my skin
A spray of lyrical glow

Touch me through the melody
Caress me with your yearn
For once the music stops
The snow begins to turn

Traces of tinged tissue
Blot my wounded eyes
Harmony that held our hearts
Certainly has to die...
