Spring

She slept thru winter
than awoke with a vengenance
She bellowed the thunder
and wept many tears
For her fading beauty
She cried for days
Untill she felt pure disgust
She beckoned fire and the winds
to teach a lesson
Then She ignored us
We suffered a silent drought
She wakes earlier every year
With hopes for a sign of new life
Her resentment is the only growth

"whipped her and beat her tied her with fences and dragged her down" but her resentment, growing as it may, turns its wounds towards the sky and she opens herself again... and again... waiting for us to free her, to redeem ourselves in her offering, to offer her some redemption... captivating.
