Within a darkened room i write
While I ponder and cite...

Thoughts on electricity.
That which has gone
for an hour or more

But I am not sore.

As I have the moon's beauty
like the sea on the shore
Playing through the trees
falling gently on the darkened
streets

The moonlight
in which my soul seeps

Then sleep
as there is no
electricity to goad my insomnia.
