The dreamscape unfolded
With welcoming arms
Like long lost friends
A linking of charms
An open acceptance
Into a world
The mind had chosen
Rather than hurled

An enchanted place
Of beauty and grace
A haven from fear
Love seemed to endear
With magic and things
Only wishes could bring
With music and laughter
I’ll remember foreverafter

They danced like the pages
Of scripts without stages
The story their own
On my heart, they had sewn
With handmade costumes
And tales, old-fashioned
Folklore and wonder
No gift had been rationed

Her light was of such
Had she fallen from a star
In a whirlwind of dance
She stood out from afar
With the flowers and things
She wore in her hair
To the smile in her eyes
And her laugh; without care

She held out her hand
Romancing the night
I drew to her flame
Like the lost
At first light...
The music then faded
And our eyes looked within
Her flame of perfection
Her spark without sin

We conversed without words
Like souls of a kind
But the moon faded too
And my vision grew blind
I asked of her name
She handed me a note
I read the first line
And then I awoke…

“Follow the words and you’ll find your missing Paige”
