Burning the night
Again
By candlelight

Breathing the stuffy air
Longing
For a familiar scent

Searching the books
Pages
Of nostalgic stories

But mostly finding
Junk
Wasted opportunity

Boxes of hobbies
Ships
With broken sails

Missing parts
Lost
And never replaced

Spoken words
Affirmations
Too easily forgotten

Then a favourite song
Playing
Reminds me to laugh

Chancing upon frames
New
Without any pictures

To go with the ones
Forever
Kept in a special place

Finding the words
Waiting
To be re-written

A view however slight
Returned
Like a gift in the night

Im not sure how to comment - I hate to sound lame and say "you read my mind" - but call me lame - b/c this was perfect.
